Thanks to School Board approval we will be hosting the Teton Valley event at the Old Middle School which by then will be the New Kindergarten. The event will help celebrate the opening of the new
“outdoor playscape” playground that was also recently approved by the Board.

Also- a note on the words “REAL FOOD.” Unfortunately I think the term “real” is a value judgement and a bit of an insult to the lunch ladies who work hard here in the Tetons to feed our kids. Other places in the US they are serving fast food- thankfully we don’t have that problem. It’s not that the food they serve isn’t “real,” it’s just that it could be a whole lot more nutritious, fresh, locally sourced, and made with sans trans fat, sugar, salt, pre-processed, etc. Also, the campaign does address vending machines which definitely don’t see “real food” and buying local.
