Hi Sue,
We are on to something! I just received a call from Libby Hall in Wilson whose children attend the Journey School. Her six yr old daughter was just diagnosed with a severe optic nerve problem. Libby was calling to see if it would be okay to reproduce the Seeing Red: Vision Assessment For Children story to provide a copy for all the parent s at the Journey School (I said yes). Libby wishes she had read the story years before to spur an evaluation of her child earlier. (Have all the school received copies?) Libby praised the magazine for writing about family health issues.
Good Job!—NTraveling in Chile this year I’ve been much more aware of food…where it comes from, how it’s prepared, tastes, and all the things you have been working so hard to explain and discover. Your work has given me a much greater appreciaiton for what I put in my body, as well as the culutral importance of food, especially here in Chile.

The most exhuberating, inspiring and altering day of “Adventures in Writing” was our day on the river. Your direct communicaiton with the students and your knowledge of writing and publishing added so much to our young writers!

Wow Sue. I am super impressed with the website. I am so glad you are doing all this. It makes me feel like things might work out ok – if you are doing what you are doing, I do what I do, Christi does what she does, etc, etc. It’s exciteing to know that there are other people out there making waves in this uncertain future of our planet – and that they are friends of mine!!_

Sue,
Thank You for all of the hard work you have done. I have noticed all of the time and energy you have put into the volleyball program here at THS and appreciate it very much. You have always gone the extra mile. Your efforts have benefitted many youth. Good luck in Italy!
Thanks Again,
