Muncaster draws upon 42 years of experiences to make the Ecogastronomy Initiative a success. She has a BA from Stanford University in Human Biology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. Her passion for the subject comes from a love of good food eaten with friends and family, traveling the world and seeing the impact of the Westernization of traditional cultures, and a vision for a healthier, happier world for her 3-year old daughter. To this end she has also helped establish and acts as Convivium Leader of Slowfood in the Tetons. and is a freelance writer and photographer.
Muncaster’s professional business experiences include working as a baker, caterer and personal chef, international rafting and trekking guide, operations manager of Colorado’s 3rd largest rafting company, and co-chair of the International Snow Science Workshop. Most importantly, her experiences as an elite athlete, adventurer and coach have taught her how to overcome fear and the value of dedication, drive, and teamwork. Adventure Bio
